Mark Dowdy is the Founder and President of Legacy 3D Roofing.  Texas born and raised, he graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. It was on the football field at UTEP that Mark would learn some of his most valuable life lessons as a four year starter for the Miners. 

After graduating college he went right to work as a Property Claims Insurance Adjuster where he gained valuable knowledge in property damage assessment and insurance claims settlement.  

Mark has spent the last 15 years passionately serving his community as a firefighter/EMT in North Texas. Hardworking, reliable and personable, he rose through the ranks and was promoted to Captain in 2021. 

Family has always been Mark’s top priority. Mark and his wife, Brittany, have 3 children. He is also very close to his 2 brothers, Justin and Josh, and their families who are also his business partners. In 2020, the 3 Dowdy brothers joined forces and Legacy 3D was born. They had always dreamed of one day owning a business together. It was Mark who convinced the others that Roofing and Construction was the right fit. At the time, he had been working as a lead project manager for another local roofing company where he gained invaluable technical knowledge. He found an industry severely lacking good, honest trustworthy companies and together they have strived to make Legacy 3D a company that can be trusted and that truly practices honesty, transparency, integrity and believes in quality over quantity every step of the way.
