Richard Ford is our Vice-President of Operations. He is a lifelong friend of the family. You will find him on-site at almost every project. If Mark is the head coach, Richard is the offensive coordinator ensuring everything runs smoothly, and that our crews have everything they need to complete the highest quality work.

As a former insurance claims adjuster, he brings a unique skill set to the table that allows him to navigate the sometimes overwhelming claims process and work effortlessly with the insurance companies to get our clients the best possible outcome.

He was born right here in the DFW area, attended Haltom High School and graduated from TCU with a B.A. in Criminal Justice. After graduation, he worked at Progressive insurance for 10 years, followed that with a 4 year stint as a 5th grade math and science teacher, and finally found his way into the roofing business in 2017. Richard jumped at the opportunity to join the Legacy 3D team in 2020.

A father of seven, ranging in age from 19 to 1, he lives in north Fort Worth with his wife, Kaci and spends his spare time coaching his son’s soccer team and trying to hold onto the hope that his Cowboys will someday win a playoff game.
